PRE-ARRIVAL INFORMATION :
Even before a student sets off from home he or she will be given all the information they need about London College Wimbledon. They will provide a complete run-through of the courses and options available as well as advice on the appropriate course/programme to take based on the students' academic performance, career aspirations and choice of destinations for their degree studies. They also handle enrolment and provide other relevant information, e.g. fees, scholarship, etc.

WELCOMING STUDENTS AT THE AIRPORT :
To ensure peace of mind, they can arrange for students to be met at the airport and transferred directly to their chosen location. They will be taken either to their student accommodation or the host family so that they can settle into their new home as quickly as possible.

PERSONAL COUNSELLING :
While studying at London College Wimbledon, students who have any personal concerns such as difficulty in coping with their programmes, settling-in, or homesickness are encouraged to see their personal tutor. The Personal Tutor provides an informal, friendly and confidential service to assist students in these areas or perhaps just to lend an attentive ear. This service is of course entirely confidential.

VISA AND POLICE REGISTRATION :
The Operations Department will ensure that all relevant certificates and documents are issued to support students in obtaining student entry visas. The Operations Department will give every assistance with police registration.

GENERAL SERVICES / BANKING ARRANGEMENTS :
Postal, fax and photocopying facilities are available to all students. They will ensure that any student who needs it is given assistance with opening their own bank account while they are in the UK.
