For over 50 years, Langside College has been delivering
courses to a wide community and holds awards for quality
including Investors in People and the Scottish Quality
Management System.
Enrolling over 10,000 students
annually of whom over 1,500 are from countries outwith the
European Union, the college operates in four main campuses
and in over 80 community based venues.
Langside College's campuses are
ideally situated in suburban settings on the south side of

Flexible study
Langside make studying as easy as possible and offer
you plenty of choice about how and when you study. You can
choose full or part-time with many courses running during
the day, or in the evening. You can join their courses
throughout the year and choose from over four different
campuses all based on the south-side of the city. They can
deliver customised training for businesses and community
groups at a place and time to suit their individual needs.
Expert tutors
Their lecturers not only work in education, but many have
practical experience of working in business and industry -
so they know what employers want. 84% of their lecturers
hold a postgraduate teaching qualification.
All the help and
support that you need
They offer support services including counselling,
accommodation and financial advice, course advice and
careers guidance. If you have a learning difficulty or
disability, our Learning Support/Extended Learning Support
Co-ordinator will help you succeed.

Study is important but at Langside College it is
also fun! Meet new people, join the Langside Students'
Association. Each year the student reps organise social
events, charity fund raising and help to develop student
led services for all students. So be sure to join up and
get out and about in their great city.

Strong links with employers
Working closely with leading employers and by
understanding their needs, Langside develop courses with
them in mind, ensuring that the skills you learn on their courses
are the skills employers want. Many of university courses combine
study in the classroom with work experience to give you
the best possible, career-focused education. If you are an
