Entry Requirements

At Informatics, we take great care to ensure that international applicants are fairly assessed with full consideration give to their pervious educational attainments and other relevant factors such as work experience and maturity.

Informatics Institute offers a range of Diploma programs to prepare students for degree courses and provide a broad based preparatory year prior to the undergraduate degree courses.

General Entry Requirements for Diploma programs

• High school graduates 'O' level equivalent;

• At least 16 years of age

General Entry Requirements for Undergraduate degrees

• Diploma or Higher Diploma for the relevant course

• GCE'A' levels passes pr a relevant polytechnic diploma

• Other Equivalent qualification

The basic undergraduate requirement to enter a degree course is 5 passes at GCE'O' levels and at least 2 passes at 'A' level.

Step 1 All application must submit certified true copies of:

Foreign Students

1. Passport

2. Birth certificate

3. Highest qualification certificate

4. Highest qualification transcript

5. Marriage certificate if married

6. 2 passport size photographs

7. Financial document from a bank with amount higher than course applied (For countries visa application)

For application whose parents are Singapore PR or Citizens, application must submit the true certified copies of the following documents:

1. Parents'/ Step parent's Official Marriage / Divorce Certificate and applicant's custody (where applicable)

2. Parent's / Step parent's highest educational certificate

3. Parent's / Step parent's Letter of Employment to state: date joined, salary, designation. Letter must not be issued more than 1 month ago.

4. A copy of the Business Registration Certificate must be produced for Self-employed

5. Parent's / Step parent's monthly CPF contributions for the past 12 months

6. Parent's / Step parent's Income Tax Assessment Notices for the past 3 years

Note:
-    If documentation is not in English, an official translation by the Notary must be included.
-    Application must be submitted to Informatics Institute Singapore - Centre International Student Services (CISS) at least 4 weeks before the program commencement date to ensure sufficient time for student pass applications. The International Student Services (ISS) will do the final checking before submission to Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA)

Step 2 Informatics will assess your application based upon academic and English entry requirements of your preferred course. To ensure that your applications will not be delayed, please ensure that all sections of the application form are completed and all relevant documentation is attached.

Step 3 Once your application is successful, you will receive a Conditional Letter of Offer from us. You will need to complete the complete the Acceptance Form, the Student Pass Application Form (2 sets) and return it to CISS together. The student pass application must be submitted 1 month and not more than 6 months from the course commencement date.

Step 4 Upon receipt of your Acceptance Form and the completed Student Pass application Form, ISS will apply for your student pass form the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority.

Step 5 Informatics Institute Singapore will send you a letter regarding the approval of your student pass. Upon receipt of the letter, you will need to arrange to make the payment for the tuition fee.

Step 6 Informatics Institute Singapore will issue you a Letter of Acceptance and the Single Journey Visa to you once payment is received. Upon arrival in Singapore, you will have to go through a medical check up (medical form to be collected from ISS) and submit the medical report with all relevant original Copies of documents that were previously submitted to ICA - for the issue of student pass application. After which, you will be ready to begin your academic journey with Informatics Institute.
