How To Apply

Admission Information

Humber offers a wide range of full-time diploma and certificate programs with normal completion periods varying from several months to three to four years.

Humber also offers specialized four-year bachelor's degree programs and collaborative degree programs in partnership with universities.

Diplomas are awarded upon the successful completion of programs that have a duration of at least two years.

Certificates are awarded upon successful completion of programs in which the program objectives or job entry skills can be mastered in less than two years.

International students refer to the Admission Information for International Students in this publication.

Admission Requirements

Minimum Requirements for Postsecondary Programs

The minimum admission requirement for eligibility into postsecondary programs is an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or eligibility as a mature student.

All programs have additional admission requirements. These may include specific secondary school courses, voluntary work experience, etc. As requirements vary from program to program, you should refer to the specific admission requirements sections of each program.

Minimum Requirements for Adult Training Programs

These programs are commonly referred to as technical certificate programs. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age on the first official day of classes. (Applicants who lack this age requirement but possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma with credits in the college, university/college or university pathways or at the general level or above may apply as secondary school graduates.)

Equivalent Admission Requirements

If you attended secondary school in another province or country, you must prove that your educational standing is equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
