ABOUT  BENEDICT INTERNATIONAL :
Benedict schools founded in 1928 by Gaston Benedict have grown into a world-renowned learning organisation. BHMS is a member of the Benedict Switzerland chain of adult education schools. The chain has grown into a renowned learning organization with Swiss specialization in hotel management being offered exclusively at the BHMS school. Today they educate in more than 80 schools worldwide approximately 50,000 students each year.

LOCATION OF BHMS CAMPUS:
BHMS is located in the new Lakefront Centre in the centre of Luzern - close to all city attractions and many examples of haspitality venues. The school is part of an existing campus with over 3,000 full and/or part time students.

Luzern has been voted one of the "most liveable" city in Switzerland, according to the William Mercer annual study and is essentially crime free and has a wide variety of English language movies theatres, clubs, discos and museums available to our students. The school is located only a few walking minutes from the centre of the town.

ACCOMMODATION :
Housing is near their main campus at Baselstrasse 57. Students live off campus after their first year. Housing is clean and comfortable. Special student requests for private accommodations or room changes are honoured, given constraints of their rental agreement.

STUDENT'S PROGRESS :
Student progress is monitored extremely carefully and form letters go to parents/guardians where student progress is of concern. BHMS instructors devote a great deal of their time to counselling students individually and they provide hours of free formal and informal tutoring. Every student meets with the Academic Dean during every term. In-training students meet twice with the Industry Training Coordinator for placement, prior to commencing Internship and the Industry Training Coordinator visits every student at his place of employment at least once during their training period.
