ABOUT VCBS :
Vinayaka Centennial Canadian Business School is a partnership between Vinayaka Mission's University and Centennial College, Canada.

Their business school was inaugurated by Her Excellency, Ms. Lucie Edwards, Canadian High Commissioner on August 6, 2005.

Vinayaka Centennial is a new campus in Chennai, India. As part of Centennial College, Toronto, Canada, they provide the same academic programs with co-op education for their students. They currently offer three management programs that are currently relevant for today's industry requirements:

• International Business Management

• Business Operations Management

• Human Resources Management

They facilitate co-op education - each of their programs integrate work terms with study terms. By using their network of established companies, their students work for three - four month terms in their relevant field of study with one or more of these companies.

This valuable on-the-job paid work experience gives their students a competitive edge upon graduation when they pursue a management career. In Canada, many of their network employers hire their graduates based on their co-op performance.

VCBS students, on completion either in India or in Canada, earn a degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation - Deemed University and an Advanced Diploma from Centennial College, Canada.

VINAYAKA MISSION UNIVERSITY:
Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation is a deemed university, a status awarded by the University Grants Commission, Government of India. Vinayaka Missions was established as a Trust in 1981 and runs a number of prestigious educational institutions in south India offering a wide range of Medicine, Dentistry, Management Studies, Computer Applications, Engineering Technology, Applied Arts and Science programs.

Vinayaka Missions has 27 colleges with more that 10,000 students attending. In recognition of excellence in education, Vinayaka Missions' Research Foundation was awarded Deemed University status in 2002 by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development of India.

CENTENNIAL COLLEGE - CANADA:
Centennial College was established in 1966 in Ontario, Canada. LOCATION :
The campus is located at the heart of Chennai city, very near to the arterial road - Anna Salai. It is just about 5 km from the Chennai Central Railway Station and about 15 km from Chennai airport.

The campus is easily reachable with near by landmarks, all with in half a km radius like - Royapettah Clock Tower, Spencer Plaza, Satyam Cineplex, Woodland Theatre.
