ABOUT UNIVERSITY :
At Unitec, the mission is to inspire people to

nationally and internationally. At Unitec

The demand for postgraduate and professional
development programmes has brought rapid change
to Unitec. Although it is committed to
maintaining a broad educational profile, more
than 50 percent of the enrolments are at degree
level and above and there are increasing numbers
of postgraduate students.
It responds to the needs of the students by
offering flexible and online learning options.
Nearly 4,000 students are enrolled in courses
supported by online learning, and the Internet
is used to develop and submit assignments and
encourage feedback on coursework from both
students and staff. Providing courses in
block-mode at weekends or during school holidays
means that it can match the timeframes and
schedules of the masters and postgraduate
students.
It looks forward to the future, to strengthening
the partnerships with all the students, with
industry, and with the professions and the
communities it serves. Unitec will continue to
