Learner Services Unit
The Learner Services Unit offers two types of
services: Administrative Services and Instructional Services.
Administrative Services:
As a learner, you will have access to a Learning
Assistant 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via e-mail and who will be with you
throughout the entire program. Your Learning Assistant will ensure that you have
your course materials in a timely manner, that you have any required information
concerning course exams, that your learner records are up-to-date and accessible
to you, and that you receive motivational boosts just when you need them most.
Lansbridge realize that there are many factors that can affect your learning;
your Learning Assistant and, when required, the rest of the Lansbridge staff,
are there to talk to and help you work through the occasional setback.
Instructional
Services:
In addition to a Learning Assistant, you will have 24
hour-a-day access to your faculty who will respond to all of your questions on
course content and assignments. The faculty constantly monitors the on-line
discussion groups and intervenes on a regular basis to keep the work group
moving along and on the right track. A program's strength is your relationship
with your fellow students, with whom you will be in constant contact through
discussion groups, personal e-mails, and real-time on-line chat tools.
