• A Swiss Higher Diploma in International Hotel Management

• An American Hotel and Lodging Association (AH&LA) Diploma

Location

Two Spectacular Campuses
HIM owns and operates two spectacular campuses in the city centre of Montreux: "Hotel Miramonte" and "Hotel Europe". The buildings are within 5 minutes walking distance of each other.

Both buildings have been completely renovated and converted to conform with the requirements of an educational institute of the highest quality standards. They offer excellent state-of-the-art facilities combined with a magnificent view of Lake Geneva and the French Alps.

Hotel Europe & Hotel Miramonte
HIM is housed in two former hotels, the "Europe" and "Miramonte", both of which have been fully renovated and equipped to provide state of the art learning facilities.

The central location of "Hotel Europe" and "Hotel Miramonte" makes student life very convenient: the main train station, the post office, shopping centres, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs and the famous "Quai des Fleurs" are all within five minutes walking distance of the school.

The HIM Academic centre is located in the building next to HIM, "Hotel Europe". The LRC, Learning and Resource centre is within easy walking distance from "Hotel Europe".

Accommodation
Students have the choice of the following accommodation options:

a) Double or Single Superior Deluxe Rooms
Accommodation in "Hotel Europe" or "Hotel Miramonte" in comfortable, refurbished rooms with bath or shower and spectacular lake view. Rooms are equipped with TV, VCR and Hi-fi System, wireless internet access, telephone for incoming calls.

b) Double or Single deluxe rooms
Accommodation in "Hotel Europe" or "Hotel Miramonte" in refurbished rooms with bath or shower and spectacular lake view, wireless internet access, telephone for incoming calls.

c) Double or single standard rooms
Accommodation in "Hotel Europe" or "Hotel Miramonte" in standard rooms with shower or bath (some rooms may have a shared bath or shower and toilet) and mountain view or in an annexe within walking distance to the school.

d) Apartments
Apartments are available upon request for returning students.

Double standard rooms are included in the indicated fees, a surcharge will apply to all other room categories.

Facilities

HIM Leisure Manager
HIM's leisure manager organises, in cooperation with the HIM Student Committee, a wide range of sports and leisure activities and excursions. Many of these events are fully or partially funded by HIM. School sports teams are also organised each semester. This allows you not only to get to know Switzerland better but also to relax and enjoy your stay.
