When and how to apply
Applications can be made at any time during the year but
must be received by 30 November for courses commencing at
the start of the following year (February/March) or by 31
May for mid-year (July) intakes.
Applications must be made on approved university forms
and accompanied by a non-refundable AUD$55 application
fee. Certified true copies of English translations must be
supplied for documents written in other languages.
If applying for a Masters or PhD program, you also must
attach to your application a one-page statement outlining
your proposed research project/field of study and the
methodology to be used.

Application forms also are available from IDP Education
Australia offices and other approved agents and from all
Australian diplomatic missions.
Offer of places
Successful applications are informed by letter, and may
accept the offered place simply by paying their tuition
fees for the first semester by a specified date.
Offers normally are made within four weeks of final
academic results being available, although there can be
delays where a student has applied for a course with
strict quotas or additional entry requirements, or where
credit/exemption is sought for previous study.
