Widest subject choice
Whatever you
want to learn - you can do it at Bradford! From Art to IT,
Beauty to Business, the range of subjects you can choose is
huge!
A head start with
jobs
As well as opportunities on some courses for work placement
experience, trips and visits to relevant places/companies may
be organised. People from industry and commerce are closely
linked to the College through the Work Placement organisers
and the Advisory Committee Structure. This means that College
knows what sort of skills and people local firms are looking
for and gives you a head start when you are looking for a job
once you have completed your course.
Proven achievements
Each year more of the students
gain entry to Universities or other institutions where they
continue their education.
Staffing your future
Staff are all well qualified to
teach in their chosen subject area. Many have spent time in
business, industry or commerce before coming to College and
regular staff development ensures that the staff have an
opportunity to keep up-to-date with developments or changes in
their vocational areas.
Facilities worth
millions
Please take whatever opportunity you have, when you come for
interview or at the College Open Days, to come and look at the
facilities. The College has spent millions of pounds updating
and upgrading the teaching accommodation, classroom and skills
areas. Come to the Departmental Open Days; bring your family;
it is very proud of the renovations and would like you to come
and see for yourself.
Pace your learning
In your own time and at your own
pace. Libraries are open during the day, most evenings and on
Saturday mornings. Specialist Library staff can help you find
the information you need from our 180,000 books and extensive
Internet connections. IT Workshop facilities are available
during the day and most evenings until 9pm, as are Mathematics
and Communication Workshops where you can get help with Maths
or with writing at all levels.
Top inspection marks
The Science and Art and Design
courses received top marks from the inspectors. Students
agree: .The main strength of the course is the support and the
quality of teaching.

what the inspectors said on their last visit. The Careers and
Educational Guidance staff can help with your choice of course
and career and, together with the Student Services staff, can
help you with information about paying your fees and applying
for other funds to help (eg: Learner Support Funds for
books/travel/childcare). The students agree: "Support from the
tutors is excellent"
