Please ensure that you fill in the application form
carefully, including supplying a reference, to avoid
unnecessary delays in processing.
If you are applying for a course in the School of
Art, Design & Textiles you should also submit
photographs of artwork or designs, so that the
Course Tutor/Coordinator can assess your creative
ability. The photographs should show work using
different mediums ie. crayon, paint, charcoal,
pencil. If you have any designs or artwork on A4
paper you could perhaps send those instead of
photographs. Any work you supply will be returned to
you.
If you are applying for GCSE or GCE 'A' Level
courses, you must also submit an essay of
approximately 350 words stating; why you wish to
study at Bradford College, which subjects you wish
to study and your career aspirations. The essay must
be hand-written in English and be your own
unaided work. You must also supply a reference from
a teacher or lecturer who can support your
application and verify that the essay is your own
unaided work.
If you would like any further information regarding
completion of the application form please do not
hesitate to contact Julie Edwards in Admissions.
Please note. For Higher Education courses you
will be required to apply through UCAS (University
and Colleges Admission Service). The UCAS form will
be forwarded to you with your offer letter if your
application is successful.
Students accepted after the end of July will be
required to complete a UCAS Late Registration Form
on arrival at the College.
