Oxford Tutorial College is a leading independent college specialising in 'A'
level and GCSE tuition for those intending to go on to higher education at a
good British university. There is a well-established sixth form for those taking
'A' levels for the first time. The college also has many years experience in
running 'A' level retake courses.
The
college also organises short intensive revision courses at Easter and
supplementary teaching to support the work being done at school. There is a
mixture of individual tuition and small group seminars.
The
Oxford Advanced Studies Program consists of a summer course for High School
students, which takes place at Magdalen College, one of the colleges of Oxford
University, and a semester abroad for High School seniors or graduates, ba sed
at King Edward Street premises, with a wide variety of academic subjects
available. The semester abroad courses are also suitable for college students
who are looking for an international dimension to their studies.
Courses at the college normally involve an element of one-to-one teaching and
in many cases are exclusively taught by this method. This allows for a great
deal of flexibility, enabling students to pursue their own academic interests
and to work at their own pace.
