The New Zealand School of Travel and Tourism (NZSTT) is widely
considered to be New Zealand's premier travel and tourism
training facility
Established in 1997, with campuses in Auckland and Christchurch,
it offers unparalleled academic and technical excellence in a
friendly and professional learning environment. The NZSTT Group
has also established a Global Campus offering distance-learning
programmes
At NZSTT all the tutors are industry experienced, with a
real-world focus. This ensures that graduates are more readily,
more immediately employable
NZSTT will always maintain a total commitment to its Quality
Management Systems. It is an accredited private training
establishment and conforms to the standards and guidelines set
out by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority [NZQA]. This
government body approves audits and establishes criteria under
the National Qualifications Framework and ensures that
qualifications are recognised internationally. An Advisory Board
represented by leaders from all sectors of the travel and
tourism industry to advise on course content and structure
reinforces the total commitment to quality. This ensures that
all training is totally current and appropriate
NZSTT has established industry partnerships with travel service
providers, travel management companies and is one of the few New
Zealand schools to be internationally accredited to teach the
IATA/UFTAA programmes for international airfare and ticketing
procedures. Our classroom environments are relevant to the
workplace, with industry standard technology, purpose-built
equipment and common procedures. NZSTT is the only New Zealand
organisation, outside SABRE PACIFIC itself, to offer full
training in the popular SABRE reservation system in a classroom
environment. The distance-learning program offered by the School
was the first NZQA accredited distance-learning program
NZSTT aims to give its students the best possible start for a
future career by enabling them to use the skills and experience
gained at the school to help them walk into a job in one of the
most exciting industries in the world
