Horticultural Skills Australia


HSA specialize in the provision of consulting and training services to the production horticulture and nursery industries. HSA is listed on the CRICOS Register (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students) to deliver horticultural qualifications to international students. Our industry-based training programs lead to the award of nationally recognized Australian qualifications. Through the ongoing consultancy arm of our business we are able to deliver high quality training in concert with best industry practice, by incorporating emerging technologies and improved work practices so that students are trained to meet current industry standards. These training programs are delivered to Australian industry standards and include qualifications from Certificates to Diploma levels.


Location


The HSA City Campus is the main campus of Horticultural Skills Australia and is located in the heart of the city at Level 7, 55 Swanston Street, Melbourne.

Melbourne, rated the most livable city in the in the world is vibrant and full of culture. It boasts great festivals and shopping, world-renowned food and wine and fabulous arts.

Our Bridge Street Campus is located approximately 30 kilometres from Melbourne in Werribee at 9 Bridge Street. The Campus provides easy access to Werribee South one of the State's key horticultural regions.

Our campus is accessible by all public transport, including train, tram and bus services and is approximately a minute’s stroll from Flinders Street Station.



Our Expertise
HSA employs extensively qualified and experienced horticultural trainers for its high quality training delivery both within Australia and overseas. Our horticultural trainers employed by Horticultural Skills Australia have significant industry experience as well as relevant tertiary level qualifications, having delivered industry-based training programs in Australia and overseas.

Training Centre
Our city-based training centre is well equipped with modern classrooms, resource centre comprising, learning guides and videos, students’ lunch room, administration area with photocopying, computer and internet facilities. We have an excellent technical library with industry-based publications, magazines, journals and bulletins for use by students. Our presentation equipments include PowerPoint projector, whiteboards and videos.
