Post University is a small university located in Waterbury, Connecticut. Post University was established in 1890. Prior to May 1990, it was known as Post College. It was affiliated withTeikyo University in Tokyo, Japan from 1990 to 2004, and during that time it was named Teikyo Post University.The university offers day, evening, and online courses, and has three satellite centers in Meriden, Danbury, and Norwalk.

Location & Facilities

Post University is located on 58 acres in the suburbs of Waterbury, Connecticut. Our campus and surrounding community offer a safe, scenic, friendly and convenient home for students. Our location in the heart of Connecticut provides convenient service from Amtrak's Northeast Corridor as well as airline service to Hartford. In fact, we're just 90 minutes away from New York City and two hours from Boston.

Post offers bachelors degrees in accounting, business administration, biology, criminal justice, computer information systems, environmental science, equine management, finance, early childhood education, legal studies (paralegal), management, human services, psychology, and sociology, as well as an MBA in Corporate Innovation or Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Finance, Leadership, and a Master of Science in Human Services. Post University has distinguished itself with its programs in equine management, accounting, business administration/management, human services, and legal studies.
