Pacific University

Overview

The school was founded in 1849 by Congregational pioneers as the Tualatin Academy and, in 1854, became the Tualatin Academy and Pacific University.

 

In 1863, the first baccalaureate degree was presented to Harvey W. Scott, who later became editor of The Oregonian, the state's largest newspaper. Pacific is a comprehensive liberal arts and healthcare university with 3,200 graduate and undergraduate students attending classes at the original campus in Forest Grove, and campuses in Eugene, Hillsboro and Portland. It is consistently recognized as one of America's best colleges by U.S.News and World Report, and named a "Best Western College" by The Princeton Review, is a private undergraduate liberal arts institution with graduate and professional programs in education, optometry and the health professions. Pacific University is an accredited member of the Northwest Commisission on Colleges and Universities.

Its located in Forest Groove in Oregon State. Oregon's Pacific University is the oldest chartered university in the West. Its located about halfway between the Oregon Coast and Portland. Scholarships

Pacific offers AUTOMATIC SCHOLARSHIPS to all international undergraduate students based on your high school or college scores at the time of admission. Your scholarship award is PER YEAR for FOUR YEARS. You do not need to apply separately for these scholarships. They are automatically awarded to all admitted students. We will show the scholarship amount on your acceptance letter and I-20.

While studying at Pacific, you must have a Pacific GPA of at least 2.0 (average score) to keep your scholarship. These scholarships are only for UNDERGRADUATE students (both Freshman and Transfer Students).
