Just 25 minutes north of Boston
One of the best ways to get to know a college, its campus and its people is to visit and experience it for yourself.While you're here, plan to visit Boston (just a half-hour drive from the campus). Visit Fanueil Hall with its many shops and restaurants, the Museum of Science, the New England Aquarium, or walk the historic Freedom Trail
Walk along and shop on Main Street in Andover. Dine in the elegant Andover Inn on the grounds of Phillips Academy or browse in the cozy Andover Bookstore. Visit national parks in Lowell and in Lawrence, cities born of the Industrial Revolution and major players in its history; See the Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox, or New England Patriots in action;
Skiing and other winter sports are easily accessible in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. And, during the warm weather, the coastal towns of Portsmouth, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, and Cape Cod, are all within easy driving distance of Merrimack.

The College offers undergraduate degrees in the liberal arts, business, science and engineering, and education programs; it also offers master’s programs in education and a range of certificate, licensure and degree completion programs.
Throughout the curriculum, students can take advantage of hands-on opportunities including cooperative education and internships, research with faculty, study abroad and service learning. And, because our curriculum emphasizes the liberal arts, graduates are prepared to be imaginative, analytical, aware of trends and historical perspectives, clear thinking, and adaptable to changes in their career.

Scholarships
Merrimack College is committed to assisting students in achieving their educational goals. That's why we offer an array of academic scholarships, federal and state grants, loans, and work programs to deserving students.
In fact, 90% of our students receive some form of financial assistance. During the 2010-2011 academic years alone, 1,500 students will receive more than $21 million in institutional grants and scholarships. Another $21 million-plus in aid comes from federal, state and private programs such as non-repayable grants, low or no-interest loans and a variety of work options.
