Los Angeles Recording School

Overview

The Los Angeles Recording School trains students in all aspects of recording session procedures and technologies, preparing them for entry level positions in the recording industry that are intended to result in a career as a recording engineer.

The 950 hour certificate program covers Music Production, Digital Recording and Audio Post Production for Film and TV, taught in both classroom and hands-on lab environments. It includes the initial preparation stages of equipment setup and preproduction; all the way through the multi-track recording process, to mixing and mastering the finished product in stereo or 5.1 surround sound. [1] The extended degree program covers the same as the certificate program but gives students more time and the ability to earn a degree. This program has students take the general education credits in order to receive their associate of science degree through their sister school, Full Sail located in Florida, with online classes. The extended program is worked into an eighteen month time frame. The Accelerated Degree program is the same as the extended except its minimized into an intense twelve month time frame.
