Fisher College is a private institution that grants both baccalaureate and associate degrees. The College is located on Beacon Street in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. The College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
Fisher College, founded in 1903, is a Boston-based accredited independent college, offering curricula that integrate a liberal education with career and pre-professional programs designed to meet the changing needs of both traditional and non-traditional learners. Through its degree level and certificate programs, Fisher College has endeavored to create a learning environment that fosters the intellectual growth of its students, promotes respect for self and others, and seeks to develop the inherent capacities of each individual student to prepare for a full, satisfying, and productive professional and cultural life. Graduates of Fisher College are expected to be informed decision-makers, prepared for immediate career entry or further higher education, and able to demonstrate an understanding of and appreciation for the values of all cultures.

Fisher College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. In the Division of Continuing & Distance Education, the Fisher College HIT program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).

Fisher College, located in the historic Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, has a proud century-old tradition of delivering a dynamic educational experience in one of the most dynamic cities in America. With its small class size, committed faculty, supportive environment and myriad internship opportunities, Fisher students enjoy an individualized educational experience few other colleges can match.
Approximately 300 students make their homes in one of the College's four residence halls. Located just around the corner from the Public Gardens and Boston Common, students reside in elegant, 1900's "brownstone" townhouses with all the comforts of home. The turn of the century residence halls have modern amenities such as security systems; common areas with full-size refrigerators and microwaves, and TV/Lounge rooms with cable TV and DVD players, making the halls a comfortable place to study, relax, or just hang out with your friends. While each living area is unique, each fosters an environment that is conducive to learning.

Scholarships
Most grants and scholarships funded by Fisher College require that a student demonstrate financial need. Most need-based grants and scholarships are awarded for a total of eight academic semesters. An academic semester is a term in which a student is enrolled in classes and paying Fisher tuition. Students must continue to make uninterrupted progress toward their degrees and maintain their academic standing in order to receive grant funding.
