Overview
On March 21, 1906 the Kentucky General Assembly approved legislation to establish two teacher training institutions, or "normal schools," in the state. A locating commission chose Bowling Green to be the site of one, and the Western Kentucky State Normal School was created.On June 16, 1966 Western Kentucky State College became Western Kentucky University.

Accomodation: It offers both on campus and off campus accomodations. Students have 1 year individual leases at $395 a month which include rent, utilities, cable and internet services.

Scholarships
Navitas USA is committed to helping students achieve their carrer goals by offering scholarships to outstanding students. The scholarship applies to 50% of the total tution fees (or part thereof) for a complete Navitas at WKU UPP stage II. The scholarship will be awarded toward the tution fees during the second semester for 50% and the final semester for 100%.
