Overview
UWIC provides education and training opportunities that are accessible, flexible and of the highest quality, and has been independently acclaimed for its high academic standards and for its high level of student satisfaction.
One tenth of UWIC students are from overseas, and our Associate College (the London School of Commerce) deliver international foundation programmes on our Colchester Avenue campus. It is already teaching University of Wales degrees, through UWIC, in London, Bangladesh and Malaysia. We also have UWIC students resident in Singapore.

Location & Facilities
UWIC operates from four major campuses in the city of Cardiff. Each campus offers a friendly and pleasant environment
Colchester Avenue Campus houses the business and hospitality, tourism & leisure students. Facilities include a library, extensive computer facilities, cafeteria and coffee shop, and a shop, which sells stationery and books.
Cyncoed Campus houses the education and sport, PE & recreation students.
The campus includes student accommodation and has extensive grounds and sports facilities, as well as a cafeteria, snack bar, a student bar and the Students' Union head office.
Art and design students are based at the Howard Gardens Campus where facilities include a cafeteria, library, a student shop, which sells artists' materials, and the Howard Gardens Gallery
Llandaff Campus houses the applied science, art & design, health & social sciences, and product & engineering design students. Facilities include a student canteen, student welfare services, Students' Union bar, a fitness gym, a library, computer workshops and a day nursery.
Plas Gwyn is a residential campus with en-suite accommodation, and the small campus at Fairwater is used for company conferences, and training seminars, as well as providing extra student accommodation.
UWIC's facilities are open to all, and so whether you are a top class athlete, a casual player or you have never taken part before, you are most welcome.
