The University of Sunderland, a public university, It is located in Sunderland and currently enrolls 17,207 students. The University is divided into 5 different schools, each catering to a different faculty. They are: School of Arts, Design, Media and Culture, School of Business, Law and Psychology, School of Computing and Technology, School of Education and Lifelong Learning and the School of Health, Natural and Social Sciences. The University offers over 2,000 rooms that are built in 5 residence halls for its students

University has two campuses: the Sir Tom Cowie Campus by the sea, and City Campus in Sunderland's city centre.
Our halls of residence are modern and have cooking and laundry facilities. They are comfortable, the rents are reasonable and you will find that they are a good place to meet other students.
In many ways living at university is like being part of a family, albeit a rather large one. We have nearly 18,000 students from all over the UK and around the world.
All students are guaranteed a single room in university managed accommodation.
University of Sunderland's accommodation is modern, comfortable, self-catered with internet access (except for Clanny House) and very competitively priced. University also provide accommodation for couples and families (particularly beneficial for postgraduate and research students), placement students, short stays and summer only accommodation.
