Our international students, from some 160 different countries, create a cosmopolitan and lively learning environment for you to study in a range of subjects including engineering, mathematics, informatics, arts, social sciences, law, health and business

 

City University London has exceptionally good links with business and the professions. We are in the top 10 in the UK both for graduate employability (according to The Times Good University Guide 2011) and graduate starting salaries (The Sunday Times University Guide 2011).

 

We have a long tradition of academic excellence, dating back to our foundation in 1894. Our staff and students are actively involved in pioneering research, which takes place in centres that bring together expertise in key areas. Our academics include some of the world's leading researchers, while 33% of City students are undertaking postgraduate degrees or research programmes.

We are located in the heart of London, close to the Capital's leading financial, legal, media and medical institutions. Both professionally and personally, students have the opportunity to benefit from all that London has to offer. Halls of residence

 

City has recently invested in new and refurbished halls of residence with private, modern study bedrooms and communal living spaces where you can cook, relax and feel at home. All have wireless internet access.

Various halls of residence are available for undergraduate students and there is accommodation specifically for postgraduate students - self-catered facilities within easy travelling distance of the main University buildings.

City University London has a wide range of scholarship opportunities available for postgraduate students in the School of Arts, Cass Business School and School of Informatics.

 

Research Studentships

City University London offers a range of research studentships for students on full-time doctorate courses. The awards offer full tuition fee waiver plus a bursary for living costs each year. The deadlines for applications usually closes in March of each year, so early application is recommended.

 

International students

A number of British Council scholarships are awarded via the British Council's representative in the applicant's country of origin.

 

Chevening Scholarships
