Overview
In its 52-year history, UNLV has undergone an amazing transformation from a small branch college into a thriving urban research institution of 28,000 students and 3,300 faculty and staff Las Vegas is the largest city in the US state of Nevada.
Along the way, the urban land-grant university has become a dynamic resource for one of the country's fastest-growing and most enterprising cities. UNLV's 332-acre main campus, located on the southern tip of Nevada in a desert valley surrounded by mountains, is home to more than 220 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degree programs, all accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
Offering 106 undergraduate programs and 117 graduate tracts, UNLV graduated a class of more than 4,000 last year.

Location & Facilities
It is located in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada, USA.
The University is located on a beautifully landscaped 335-acre campus. Classes are held in comfortable, well-equipped buildings that are showcases of modern architecture. New classroom, physics, and student services buildings opened in 1994, and an architecture building opened in 1997.
UNLV is a gateway for opportunities. As a member of the campus community, everything you need is at your fingertips. From student activities and cultural events to tasty dining options and wireless locations, we offer something for everyone.
An Active Campus
Students are always on the move at UNLV. You can play intramurals or take fitness classes at the rec center, hang out with friends in the Student Union game room, or cram for an exam over coffee at the library's Book 'n Bean.

Scholarships
NLV provides a variety of financial assistance to qualified students. Loans, grants, scholarships,and employment are all awarded to help students meet their educational expenses while attending UNLV. All students should explore every possible resource. A student's eligibility may be determined by financial need, scholastic achievement, special skills, or service. Students may complete a financial aid application prior to, or at the same time as, the application for admission. The deadline for applying for scholarships is February 1. All paperwork for other forms of financial aid (loans, grants, and work-study) should be submitted by February 1, but later submissions will be processed. Financial Aid
