Overview

Stansfield College was founded in 1993 by our Chairman Mr.Kannappan Chettiar with the mission of providing the University of London degrees. Many of us at Stansfield College (including our Chairman and Deans) have a University of London degree and we have dedicated ourselves for this purpose as we believe it is the best degree available to " late bloomers".

For over 17 years, our mission has remained the same which has resulted in our ability to produce many top students including First Class Students year after year consistently. With a view to enable students to be admitted to the University of London degrees, we expanded our courses to include several foundation courses over the years.

As the only specialist provider of the University of London degrees in Singapore, we are able to offer over 70 subjects for these degrees. Most of the courses are taught by full-time faculty who have the required dedication to commit themselves to our mission and core values.

The Stansfield brand name is well recognised in Singapore and was built over the last 17 years. The Stansfield Group and College have been recognised over the last decade:

 Stansfield College has been recognised by the University of London and its lead college, London School of Economics (LSE) since 1995 to conduct the Diploma in Economics programme in Singapore. In 2010, the College achieved the 'Registered Centre' status with the University of London.

• Stansfield College was also awarded the Singapore Quality Class of Private Educational Organization in 2003 in recognition of its educational excellence in Singapore.
• Our Chairman, Mr Kannappan Chettiar was selected as Top 10 Entrepreneur of the Year 2002.
• Our Chairman was also nominated as a finalist for the Phoenix Award 2003 which recognises entrepreneurs who have overcome challenges and setbacks and are able to rise to become stronger and better.
• In 2004, our Chairman was selected as one of the top 5 finalists in the SICCI-DBS Indian Entrepreneur of the Year 2004 award.
• In 2005, our Chairman was awarded the SICCI-DBS Indian Entrepreneur of the Year 2004.

 The prestigious Enterprise 50 Award is a Singapore government endorsed award that honours the most innovative and entrepreneurial companies in Singapore. The group is the only education provider that has been awarded the Enterprise 50 for five consecutive years (2002 – 2006).
