Opened in 1972 and located in the beautiful Taranaki region of New Zealand, WITT is Taranaki's only government owned institute of technology and polytechnic and has a rich history of producing graduates with the knowledge and skills to pursue and succeed in their chosen career.
The Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki (WITT) is a quality Government-owned tertiary education institution based in New Zealand's cultural and surfing hub. WITT is the only state tertiary institution in Taranaki and offers courses from certificate to degree level across a wide range of areas. WITT has two accommodation blocks situated at the bottom of the WITT campus. You can choose between having your own room or sharing with a room-mate. Your room will bHomestay
Homestay is where you live with a family, in their home. You will be treated like one of the family and will be expected to help out with household chores and to live by the rules of your host family. Meals are provided and meal times are usually shared together.
