Massey university established in 1927. It is one of New Zealand's largest universities with approximately 36,000 students. It has the nation largest business college.Massey is known for groundbreaking research, contribution to land-based industries, close links with the community and an 80-year tradition of academic excellence. Massey university is the only university in New Zealand offering degrees in Aviation, Dispute Resolution and Veterinary Medicine.
Massey university has campuses in Palmerston North, Auckland and Wellington. Palmerston North campus consist of two locations at Turitea and Hokowhitu. The campus has around 9000 students. The Auckland campus was created in 1993 and it has around 7000 students. Wellington campus was created in 1999 and it has around 4000 students.

Doctoral Scholarships are open to persons who are enrolled or eligible to enrol full-time for a research paper of 120 credits during a 12 month period towards a Doctoral degree at Massey University.

New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarships (NZIDRS)
The New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarships provide financial support for postgraduate students seeking doctoral degrees by research in New Zealand universities. There are normally up to 10 scholarships awarded annually.
Funded by the New Zealand Government and administered by the Education New Zealand Trust, the scholarships aim to:
- Attract top international students;
- Maximise the research capability, and output of New Zealand tertiary providers;
- Build deeper education partnerships with participating countries and regions;
- Enhance the international profile and reputation of New Zealand’s tertiary education institutions.
NZAID New Zealand Development Scholarships - Public Category (NZDS-Public)
The NZDS-Public scholarships scheme is a bilateral scheme available to individuals from selected partner countries in Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The selection criteria is determined by the partner government and NZAID.
The scholarship is funded through the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is available to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Students must apply for this scholarship through their home country.
The scholarship covers tuition, return airfare, a stipend for living allowance and medical and travel insurance.
