Lincoln University

Overview

Lincoln University is New Zealand’s specialist land-based university. As a publicly owned and operated university that exists and operates under New Zealand statute, we are 100% committed to transforming land, people and economies. It was formed in 1990. Lincoln university has a student population from more then 60 counteries. Lincoln University is also home to the National Centre for Advanced Bio-Protection Technologies, one of only seven Government-sponsored Centres of Research Excellence in New Zealand and the only one in the South Island. Location & Facilities

Lincoln University is a quick 25 minute drive from the airport and the many popular tourist and recreational attractions of Canterbury. Faculty of Agriculture & Life science: animal science, farm management, horticultural management, systems biology, computational modelling, food and wine science, entomology; plant pathology and crop protection; ecology, conservation and wildlife management; evolution, molecular genetics and biodiversity.
