Overview
Bay of Plenty Polytechnic offers the largest range of New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) approved programmes in Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty. Their nationally recognized short courses, certificates, diplomas, degree programmes and pathways are relevant, hands-on and of high quality. BOP developed strategic partnerships with other tertiary institutions to provide important pathways and opportunities for our students. In 2008 Bay of Plenty Polytechnic entered into a full institutional partnership with the University of Waikato.

Location & Facilities
BOP is located in the city of Tauranga in the North Island with 2 campuses in the city which are:
Windermere Campus - The main campus is located on the southern side of the city, set in 20 hectares of trees and gardens and providing an atmosphere of peaceful tranquility.
Bongard Centre - The School of Business Studies is located in the Bongard Centre, a modern facility located in the heart of Tauranga City.

Intake
The major intakes for BOP are February and July. Whereas few courses commences only in February.
