The University of Wollongong traces its origins to 1951 when a Division of the then New South Wales University of Technology was established in Wollongong.

Location & Facilities

The Wollong Campus is located on the New South Wales coast, 80km south of Sydney and 3km from the centre of Wollongong. The campus combines a tranquil bushland setting with modern, state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure that provides the perfect environment for learning. A comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses are offered across nine faculties.

 

While studying at the University of Wollongong there is a variety of accommodation options for students to consider.
