Phoenix academy is a private, english language training institution located in perth, western australia. The academy was set up in 1989 and has campuses in west perth and perth beach (fremantle). Phoenix specialises in a range of education training and education services including teaching intensive general and academic english (elicos) to over 2,000 international students every year. The academy conducts foundation studies program, english support programs, and english as a second language teacher training courses.

Arrival and orientation

All students participate in a comprehensive orientation program on their first day at the academy which includes:

Cost of living . . . . . .

Living costs have been calculated at around $250 to $280 aud per week for international students in perth, depending on individual circumstances and accommodation preferences. This is well below the australian average of $320 aud per week - and significantly lower than the living costs in sydney and melbourne.
