Carrick Sydney campuses are in the heart of the city and easily accessible by public transport.
Students relocating to Australia should keep in mind the relevant costs when they undertake studies. When calculating the cost of living in Australia, students must also budget for food, health care, transport, books, clothing and entertainment.
Students are recommended to allow a minimum of A$15,000 per year to cover their cost of living. It is highly recommended that students arrive with an additional A$2,000 to cover settling in costs such as rental bond and to purchase basic furniture items, if this is not already prepaid during enrolment.
Homestay Accommodation
Homestay in Australia is a great way of introducing international students to the Australian way of life by providing a safe and enjoyable family environment. Homestay is living with a family, couple or single person/s (called a host) living with a homestay host can be a valuable part of an international student’s learning experience in Australia. Students who stay in homestay usually benefit in improving their English because they will be living with English speakers.
Carrick uses a national homestay network called the Australian Homestay Network known as AHN. AHN also arrange airport pick up which is to be paid in advance.

Studio Apartments
Students can arrange accommodation in studio apartments, which are clean, safe, secure and provide independent living with on-site management staff. Studio apartments have a shower and toilet, are fully furnished and air-conditioned, and have a DVD, TV, fridge, microwave oven and telephone. Recreational facilities available at some student studio apartment complexes include a gym, swimming pool and sauna, in-house restaurant, business centre and recreational room with TV and pool table.

Students are able to view accommodation boards at their campus on the locations below. Accommodation boards will have shared accommodation listings from either current and noncurrent students or the general public. Carrick takes no responsibility for the content on the accommodation board please ensure that you understand and check accommodation before entering into a contract with landlord.
